Fred Beans West Chester Ford Couple Redeems 4Millionth AutoRewards Rewards Point
Dolans save on purchase of 2013 Ford Fusion
When Robert and Linda Dolan of West Chester bought their Ford Fusion at Fred Beans Ford of West Chester, they thought they knew exactly what they were getting. After all, Rob, a finance director in Upper Darby, had done his "due diligence" and researched the Fusion carefully, and they planned to save more than $1,300 by using their Fred Beans AutoRewards points on the purchase.
They had no idea that their transaction would take the Fred Beans AutoRewards program over the $4,000,000 mark in points redeemed since the program's inception in 2003, or that they'd be further rewarded with a free Platinum AutoRewards membership pre-loaded with a bonus 500 points during the West Chester dealership's hosting of the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce's business card exchange on August 9.
Fred Beans AutoRewards?free to new vehicle buyers at the Basic level?delivers discounts and special benefits to members in three ways. First, 15 points for each $100 spent on qualified purchases (15 percent of the total) on any vehicle in the household goes into an account that translates into up to $2000 that can be applied to the member's next purchase of a new or pre-owned vehicle. Second, cardholders receive discounts and specials from merchant partners, such as restaurants and service providers right in their community, just by showing their card. Third, members receive Fred Beans service discounts and freebies, bonus AutoRewards points and invitations to members-only events the whole family can enjoy.
A Platinum membership costs $495 and provides even more discounts and benefits than the Basic AutoRewards the Dolans had just redeemed ? around $2,500 worth of free inspections, free oil changes and other free or discounted services.
"Linda Dolan loved the Mercury Sable wagon they traded in, because she could tell where the back of the car was," said general manager Jack Enright. "So we found a Fusion with a rear spoiler. This seemed to ease the transition." And Rob Dolan made sure his new car had Ford SYNC®, the voice-activated system that meshes all his technology.
